Up north

He toyed with the idea of flying to Helsinki, rent a car and drive up north, up until the road came to an end. And then stay there for an undefined period of time. That was a long wish of him, one that could be traced back to the days when he was just a child and saw his first maps of the world with its funny names for towns and rivers and mountains and seas. For lack of courage and freedom he kept toying with the idea some forty plus years later. He was old enough to know better.
