Susana!

From the stool he seats in he sees that each and every one of the clocks at the watchmakers' display a different time. A few youngsters cluster at one corner, sharing an intimidating deep stare as the ruling feature of their social group. The sandwich he eats is delicious. Slices of tomato combined with tuna and olives. A woman asks him to get into the pharmacy next door to buy some diapers. She carries a handful of small branches of rosemary. Three people talk loudly in a quiet place of the hall about a topic of special interest to one of them. A young man walks across the atrium with the saddle of a bicycle in his hand. Their conversation is characterized by the absence of accuracy in the way the information is conveyed. There is a cow in front of a shop and it has a cowbell. Kids passing by stop and hit it. The bell, that is. A surge of anxiety can be discerned in the loud voices of the three people, their behavior verging on the inappropriate, their composure about to be lost. His train is late. The excitement of the situation has a negative effect in the comprehension of the matter the three people discuss. A waitress tells her workmate she needs to go to the toilet. A case of pooh not pee, she whispers with a smile. Why the three people behave the way they do they have no idea and neither does he. A girl in a hurry crosses the hall with determined strides and as she turns her head she calls out a name. Susana!
