Efficiency

Today is the first day that I have walked to work in the morning and plan to run from work in the evening. The distance between home and work turns out to be about perfect, around 8 km on flat terrain. The urban surroundings are not too ugly, the only downside is the heat. This morning I carried my running gear in my backpack, which was pretty light as I don't need to carry my laptop - a memory stick is more than enough since I can use a Mac at both ends, work and home. The backpack will also be light this evening when I'll be heading home, as the weight of my summer clothes is nothing to worry about. Some days ago I was thinking of buying a small bike for the purpose but on second thoughts I have just decided to make it this way, a way I like it better, with a combination of walk and run. With this scheme I'll have my training done while I get back home from work. Really efficient.
